Unpacking help.
Room to settle in.

Unpacking and home setup for the boxes you meant to get to—and the rooms that still don’t feel settled.

A finished, inviting art studio with a clear worktable and comfortable seating.

Get past “I’ll deal with it later.”

Maybe you have just moved. Maybe the boxes have followed you through more than one home. Or a spare room has become a place to put things until there is time to decide.

You don’t have to figure it all out before asking for help. I work alongside you to unpack, sort, and give belongings useful homes, without turning every box into an exhausting afternoon of decisions.

What we can work on together

  • Unpack a bedroom, home office, hobby room, or other agreed area.
  • Group belongings around how you use them, rather than where they happened to land.
  • Arrange furniture, surfaces, and storage to make the room easier to live in.
  • Identify duplicates and separate items you choose to donate, sell, or keep elsewhere.
  • Set up simple labels and an easy-to-follow arrangement for what stays.

Settled doesn’t mean stripped bare.

Your books, artwork, keepsakes, and useful odds and ends are part of the home. We start with what you want the room to do, then work out what fits and where it belongs.

Some decisions take longer than others. We can keep a small review area for those items while making progress on the rest. You stay in charge of what leaves.

A manageable starting point

A single room is often enough to begin. We agree on the area, the work involved, what you want to handle yourself, and what support you need from me. Packing materials, donations, and any hauling are included in the plan only when we agree on them.

A few fair questions.

Do I have to be moving to book unpacking help?

No. Boxes that have been sitting for months or years are a perfectly good reason to call. The goal is to make the space usable now.

Is this a moving or cleaning service?

My focus is unpacking, organizing, and room setup. I’m not a full-service moving crew or routine housekeeper. Heavy moves, specialist installations, and other outside work need their own agreed arrangements.

Do I need to buy new storage?

Not before we talk. We first look at the furniture and storage you already own. Any additions should serve a clear purpose and fit the agreed budget.

Where do you work?

I help clients in Asheville, Black Mountain, Old Fort, and surrounding Western North Carolina. Upstate South Carolina projects are available by arrangement. We discuss travel when reviewing your project.

Already unpacked, but the room still isn’t working?

Start with one room.

What would you like to
enjoy about your space?

Tell me what’s been sitting in boxes, which room isn’t working, and where you’re located. A few sentences are plenty.
